  • Chess Grandmaster Jan Timman dies aged 74

    It is with great sadness that we’ve learned of the passing of Chess Grandmaster – nicknamed ‘The Best of the West’ has passed away aged 74 GM Timman played in the Manchester Open at Owens Park in 1970 scoring 4.5 points.
