Postcode: OL4 5AJ

Directions:

a) From Manchester - take the A62 Oldham Road, which becomes Manchester Road at Hollinwood, and carry on North towards Oldham. Just before reaching Oldham town centre there is a big roundabout, at which you should head right (East - 3rd exit), keep in the right-hand lane and get onto the bypass (Oldham Way, still A62). Carry on and you will go under a footbridge, after which there is a set of traffic lights. Keep in the right hand lane and take the filter lane (traffic lights). This will take you on to the A669 Lees Road, across the Metrolink tracks, heading towards Uppermill    (Saddleworth Attractions). You will soon come to the Cross Street traffic lights; go straight across (the fire station is on the right just after the lights). Carry straight on along A669, which will take you practically all the way to the venue, which is just before Lees village centre. You soon descend a hill, at the bottom of which you will see Leesbrook Mill on the right, with the former Bridge Inn (now a DIY shop) situated in front of it. Cross the small bridge after the pub and as the road begins to climb into the village centre, turn right on to Burton Street. Go up the short steep hill, and St Edward’s is on your left, at the corner of the first junction with Spring Lane. Turn left and then immediate left again through the gates into the Church Hall car park, then park at the back of the building.

b) From the M62/A627(M), take the second turn-off for Elk Mill Retail Park and Oldham. At the top of the slip road on the roundabout take the 2nd junction on to Chadderton Way, then at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the Oldham Way bypass and continue as above.

c) From the M60 westbound, exit at the Hollinwood/Oldham junction 22, turn right on to the A62 Manchester Road and carry on North towards Oldham. Continue as above.

Alternatively come off the M60 at the Ashton exit (Junction 23), navigate the Ashton bypass system and head north on the B6194, a long straight road that takes you almost into Lees. Take the right fork at the very end (Lees New Road), pass the golf course on your right, with a housing estate on your left, then turn left at the T-junction on to Rhodes Hill, which descends and bends sharply and then brings you up onto the A669 Lees Road, at the other end of Lees village. Turn left, go down through the village on the A669, heading west towards Oldham, go over a zebra crossing and turn left into Burton Street, continuing as above. Warning: It is very easy to overshoot and miss the left turn into Burton Street.
